The highlight of our trip to CT was staying at The Snuggery. Amy, the owner, was very accommodating to our requests. The house was immaculate! The bedroom was homey with bedding like sleeping on a cloud! We will certainly be back.
We absolutely LOVED our stay. This B&B not only is quaint, beautiful, and homey but it is so clean and so detailed to allow for max comfort. Thank you, Amy, for creating a space that is a true vacation for visitors!
We are from central Georgia and often host guests for the Masters. I want to emphasize the amazing attention you put into your Bed & Breakfast. It truly is wonderful. I am taking notes. Thank you!
Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay in town. The Snuggery will remain on our travel plans each year!

Thank you for our very comfortable stay! We enjoyed our experience and hope to visit again.
The Lavalette Perrin House, c.1844
A whimsical blending of the Classical Greek Revival and the intricate details of the Carpenter Gothic style, built c.1844 for Lavalette Perrin (1816–1889), who graduated from Yale in 1840 and became licensed to preach in 1843. He accepted the call to become pastor of Goshen's Congregational Church and had this residence built soon after. Unique features include flushboard siding, pilaster-and-lintel framed doors and windows, and wave-like bargeboards.
Our name comes from great-great-grandfather Dr. Joseph Odiorne Thomas West, who in 1861 purchased real estate in Princeton, NJ, which he named "The Snuggery" — his home and office. As the community's only full-time resident physician, he established himself as a dependable, compassionate caregiver, responding day or night, in any weather. That spirit of care is the one we keep.
