Privacy Policy
The Snuggery Bed & Breakfast is a two-room guest suite in Goshen, Connecticut, run by its owner. This page explains what happens to the information you give us. It is written to describe how this website actually works, not to cover things we do not do.
What we collect
When you send a reservation request from this site, the form collects:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The dates you selected and the number of guests
- Anything you type in the notes field
- Whether you ticked the box asking about on-site massage therapy
- Whether you ticked the box asking to bring a small pet
That is the entire list. The site does not ask for an address, a date of birth, or any payment information.
What we do with it
- Confirm your stay. We call you on the number you gave us to go over the details and take payment by phone.
- Send your confirmation. Once payment is received we email you a confirmation.
- Text your door code. Check-in is keyless and self-service, so your entry code is sent by text message to that same number.
- Keep the calendar accurate. Confirmed dates mark the calendar on this site as unavailable. Only the dates appear there. Your name and contact details are never shown publicly.
We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing.
Where it is stored
Reservation requests are recorded in a private Google Sheet and emailed to the owner. Both are protected by the owner's Google account. The website itself is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which handles the request routing and may log standard technical information such as IP addresses for security and abuse prevention, as any web host does.
This means Google and Cloudflare act as our service providers. Their own privacy terms apply to the processing they carry out.
Payment
No payment is taken on this website. There is no checkout, no card form, and no payment processor connected to it. Payment happens over the phone, directly with the owner, after your stay is confirmed. Payment details are never handled by email.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. Nothing follows you around after you leave.
Links out to other sites, such as the local tourism pages or our Facebook page, are ordinary links. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy takes over.
How long we keep it
Reservation records are kept as business records: they let us look up a past stay, welcome returning guests, and meet our tax and accounting obligations. If you would like your details removed and there is no ongoing or recent stay that requires us to keep them, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Call 860-689-3959 or email stay@thesnuggery.net and we will sort it out. There is no form to fill in.
Children
This site is intended for adults making travel arrangements. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If how we handle information changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top is updated.
